Snow and football...

At practice today, we were having a little problem getting the kids motivated. It was cold, windy, and wet, so we threatened them that if they kept under-performing that we would make them REALLY play in the snow. Well, they picked it up, and for a snow covered practice really came through. So for conditioning, we had them run 12 30 yard sprints with the catch that they had to dive and slide once during each sprint. I thought some of these shots ended up being pretty good, all things compared. Unfortunately, I was taking all the pictures, soo you don't get to see me in my huge snow coat, snow pants, boots and beard. The kids (and other coaches) were calling me all sorts of names, even though my faves were "the whale", "Puffy", "Satan Santa", and "the snowman from hell". Pretty funny stuff.
